SHORT TITLE : National Identification System Act of 2004
ABSTRACT : "National Identification System Act of 2004." This bill seeks to establish and maintain a complete, adequate and consolidated National Identification System (National ID) to attain the following objectives: 1) to streamline and economize the bureaucracy by consolidating the present ID systems with the National ID system; 2) to facilitate and expedite statistical data gathering by pertinent government institutions; and 3) to provide Filipino citizens with a simple and effective identification system to conduct transactions.

Abstract

"National Identification System Act of 2004."
