ABSTRACT : This proposed amendment to Section 5 (d), Republic Act No. 5487 as amended, otherwise known as "The Private Security Agency Law", is intended to rectify the socio-economic iniquities and imbalance affecting security guards who are fifty (50) and above but not more than sixty (60) years of age.
