| FULL TITLE : AN ACT AMENDING SECTION THREE HUNDRED TWO OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7160, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES(RE: LGUS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS) |
| ABSTRACT : Local government units may enter into contracts with any duly prequalified PROJECT PROPONENT, for the financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of any viable infrastructure facility OR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT under A build-and-opera te (BOT) OR OTHER PRIVATE SECTOR PARTICIPATION ARRANGEMENTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO JOINT VENTURES, CONCESSIONS, MANAGEMENT OR SERVICE CONTRACTS, AND LEASES, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE provisions of Republic Act Number Sixty-Nine Hundred Fifty-Seven (R.A. No. 6957), AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NUMBER SEVENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTEEN (R.A. NO. 7718) AUTHORIZING the financing, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure projects by the privaate sector and the rules and regulations issued thereeunder and such terms and conditions provided in this Section. |

Abstract
