| ABSTRACT : "PO-NGO Empowerment Act of 2004." This bill establishes mechanisms by which the government may assist people's organizations and non-government organizations to expand their operations to cover more areas in the country. Assistance to POs and NGOs may be in the form of: 1) project grants; 2) matching grants; 3) concessional loans; 4) technical, training and organizational development support; and 5) such other assistance or support as may be mutually determined to be appropriate and proper. | |

Abstract
"PO-NGO Empowerment Act of 2004." This bill establishes mechanisms by which the government may assist people's organizations and non-government organizations to expand their operations to cover more areas in the country. Assistance to POs and NGOs may be in the form of: 1) project grants; 2) matching grants; 3) concessional loans; 4) technical, training and organizational development support; and 5) such other assistance or support as may be mutually determined to be appropriate and proper.'
