FULL TITLE : AN ACT GRANTING APPROPRIATE CIVIL SERVICE ELIGIBILITY TO ELECTED LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES |
ABSTRACT : This bill grants Civil Service Professional eligibility to all rovincial Governors, Vice Governors, city and municipal Mayors who have rendered an aggregate service of at least three (3) years in the local government unit they served regardless of their educational attainment. It also grants the same eligibility to all members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, city and municipal Vice Mayors, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and Sangguniang Bayan provided that they have earned at least 72 units in college or equivalent to second year, otherwise only Career Service Sub-Professional eligibility shall be granted to them. |
