ABSTRACT : The bill limits the term of patents for drugs and pharmaceutical products to 10 years from the date of filing of the application, be it in the Philippines or elsewhere in the world. It further requires the concurrence of Congress for the extension of patents for drugs and pharmaceutical products. (Cheaper Medicines)
