ABSTRACT : Regulates the use, sale and advertisements of tobacco products. Promotes a healthful environment and protect the citizens from the hazards of tobacco smoke in accordance with the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC). Amends certain provisions of Republic Act No. 9211 to make the law attunes to current demands and genuinely responsive to urgent requirement for the protection of public health against the life-threatening hazard of smokes.
