To stop the indiscriminate conversion of agricultural lands to residential, commercial and industrial lands, the bill declares all irrigated and irrigable agricultural lands planted with rice, crops, sugar, coconut and other crops as NPAAs and as such, not subject to conversion for other uses. |

Abstract
"National Protected Areas for Agriculture (NPAA) Law". To stop the indiscriminate conversion of agricultural lands to residential, commercial and industrial lands, the bill declares all irrigated and irrigable agricultural lands planted with rice, crops, sugar, coconut and other crops as NPAAs and as such, not subject to conversion for other uses.
