SHORT TITLE : Expanded Barangay Captains' Insurance Act of 2004 | |
ABSTRACT : "Expanded Barangay Captains' Insurance Act of 2004". The barangay, as the basic political unit, plays a significant role in the implementation of government policies, plans and programs. This measure attempts to provide supplemental term insurance coverage to all barangay captains for death, injuries and sickness that may be sustained in the conduct of their official duties and functions. These supplemental benefits are in addition to the insurance coverage being extended to barangay captains by the Government Service Insurance System. | |

Abstract
"Expanded Barangay Captains' Insurance Act of 2004". The barangay, as the basic political unit, plays a significant role in the implementation of government policies, plans and programs. This measure attempts to provide supplemental term insurance coverage to all barangay captains for death, injuries and sickness that may be sustained in the conduct of their official duties and functions. These supplemental benefits are in addition to the insurance coverage being extended to barangay captains by the Government Service Insurance System.'
