| ABSTRACT : Despite the creation of the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) which serves as the central mapping agency of the government, it has been observed that some government agencies still do their own mapping services resulting in the duplication efforts and costs. Considering that the NAMRIA is well equipped to handle the job, this bill seeks to consolidate the mapping budget of various departments of the government and centralize such function under the office of the NAMRIA. |

Abstract
Despite the creation of the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) which serves as the central mapping agency of the government, it has been observed that some government agencies still do their own mapping services resulting in the duplication efforts and costs. Considering that the NAMRIA is well equipped to handle the job, this bill seeks to consolidate the mapping budget of various departments of the government and centralize such function under the office of the NAMRIA.
