ABSTRACT : The bill proposes to increase the share of local government units in the internal revenue allotment (IRA) from 40% to 45% starting in FY 2007. The proposed 5% increase shall be allocated to barangays in addition to the 20% allocation provided under Section 285 of the Local Government Code.

Abstract

The bill proposes to increase the share of local government units in the internal revenue allotment (IRA) from 40% to 45% starting in FY 2007. The proposed 5% increase shall be allocated to barangays in addition to the 20% allocation provided under Section 285 of the Local Government Code.'
