SHORT TITLE : Women's and Girls' Human Rights Awareness Program in Media Act of 2003
ABSTRACT : "Women's and Girl's Human Rights Awareness Program in Media Act of 2003." The bill requires that a minimum of 15% of the daily air time of radio and television broadcasting networks be allotted for women's and girls' human rights programs and shows. The programs shall include, among others, the lives of Filipino heroines, RA 7877 (Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995) and RA 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Women.
