ABSTRACT : Articles 333 and 334 of the Revised Penal Code define the felonies of adultery and concubinage, respectively, Under the law, a wife in an adultery case incurs a heavier penalty than a husband in a concubinage case. This bill seeks to amend Articles 333 and 334 of the Revised Penal Code to attune it to the Constitutional mandate of fundamental equality of women and men before the law.
