SHORT TITLE : Science and Technology Funding Act of 2004 | |
ABSTRACT : "Science and Technology Funding Act of 2004". This bill seeks to allocate an amount equivalent to the prescribed UNESCO norm of at least one percent (1%) of the gross national product as the annual budget for scientific and technological activities (STA). It also proposes the allocation for the STA to gradually increase until it reaches the prescribed norm on the 5th year which shall include both government and private sector activities. | |
